The Oyo State Government has announced that public primary and secondary schools across the state will resume academic activities on Monday, July 6, 2026, following the suspension of the month-long strike by the Nigeria Union of Teachers.  The announcement was co ntained in a circular issued by the Oyo State Ministry of Education, Science and Technology, which also unveiled a revised academic calendar for the 2025/2026 school session.
